12 days until the NYC marathon. I ran with the Gazelles this AM. The workout was 3-5 x 2000 at Zilker park. I had a nice warmup running with Jay and Henry. We did our usual drills and then I set out on my three repeats with Margaret. She and I seem to be in between groups so we pace eachother through the workouts. My first repeat was 8:49, second was 9:00, and my last one was a very solid 8:22. The last time we did this workout my leg was hurt and I was only able to do one in the 10:00 minute range. I ran back to Runtex Riverside after the workout. Gilbert gave me my coaching orders for the remainder of my training and I feel really good about heading to New York.
