A Day Inside

It has been raining in Austin for almost a week now. It's very hard rain causing flooding around the area. Parts of the Town Lake trail are under water which is really bad. I was supposed to meet Alex and Liliana at 6AM to run around the trail, but didn't make the attempt. I heard it raining all night and assumed that the trail was going to be a mess. I got up and headed to the health club for an hour on the treadmill. I hate the treadmill, but didn't want to run on the road the day after a race. I was able to run 6.5 miles in an hour. I passed the time watching TV reports of the Town Lake trail under water...even at mile zero. Hopefully the rain stops soon so the trail isn't damaged too bad.
