Recovery Run in the Hood
Today I ran in the neighborhood after dropping the kids off at school. I did my usual out and back and then added 3 miles heading north on escarpment through the new shopping center and down the hill on the other side. It's a really nice run although the construction folks keep trying to block off the entrance on the other side. I jumped over the pallet they put and kept going...no biggie. I kept a pretty moderate pace for the run and felt really good. My glute pain is still there, but just kind of a nagging thing.
I did 6x12 lunges when I got home and stretched really well.
