Easy 5 at Home
I am still pooped from my trip so I slept an extra 1.5 hours and ran my 5 miles at home today. This is our real first week of taper and G said to cut the recovery run from 7 to 5 miles. It was foggy today, which is kind of weird, and in the low 70s. I put on my reflective vest so I wouldn't get hit and set out around 7AM. I went out and headed north on Escarpment for 2.5 miles and turned around. I came back the same way except for a small change at the end. I found a flat stretch and kicked it up to MGP so I could measure my heart rate. It maxed at 151 so that was great. I got home, stretched, and did my 120 abs. A nice, short day, and I felt great.
