Volunteering at the Cap Triathlon

Today I thought I would pay back a bit and volunteer at the Capitol of Texas Triathlon down at Town Lake. I got to the course about 5:45 and ran into Henry at the volunteer tent. We headed over to the lake to help corral the people at the start and send them off into the swim. It was a lot of fun seeing all the people. We ran into numerous Gazelles as well as a few old friends from the Galloway group. Gilbert's team won the relay and Alex and KKx2 came in third place. I guess she didn't cheat. :)

Anyway, doing a triathlon is definitely something that I want to do in the near future. So if all works out well I will be at the Cap Tri as an athlete next year.
