Fartleks

Today I met the group, but I was told to do fartleks on the 7 mile loop since I am racing on Sunday. Unfortunately, the only other folks racing this weekend were the fast folks. I set off by myself and ran a really quick 20 minute, 2.5 mile warmup. I started my 2/1 fartleks and ran for 3.5 miles. I then ran a one mile cool down after crossing the small foot bridge on the way back to RunTex.

Warm up - 2.5 miles/20:00/8:00 pace
Fartleks - 3.5 miles/26:15/7:30 pace
Cool down - 1 mile/9:00

I did 5 strides at the end and headed to the club where I did my ab excercises.

Stats - 7 miles/55:15 total time
