Zone 3 Recovery Run
Today I met Alex for a recovery run on the 7 mile loop. It was another cool morning after another round of thunderstorms in north Austin. We ran a nice pace and my heart rate was perfect for a recovery run. We stopped for water at the Rock and then headed in. We did 4 strides and I headed to the gym. I did two sets of my arm exercises and three sets of my back and leg exercises. I did some crunches in the ab machine, some work in the roman chair and then some crunches on the mat. I followed all that with the full stretch routine.
Tomorrow is the first tempo race of the season. That should be very interesting for the new peeps!
