1000s at AHS
Well I thought I was feeling better on Monday, but my stomach bug actually got worse. I took Tuesday off to try and get better. I felt better last night so I decided to go for the workout this morning. The goal was six 1000s. I started out with my normal group, but couldn't keep up. It pretty much sucked, but I stuck with it and did all the repeats. I know why I was slow so I didn't let it bother me too much. We finished up with a couple of 200s.
I averaged 4:19 for the six repeats which is about 10 seconds slower than on June 20th. It was good to get the work in and now I have to get my strength back and get my body ready for the 20 miler on Saturday.
