Split Workout

Today was run and gym day, but I was trying to balance a little extra sleep with Carla's work schedule. I set the alarm for 6AM and the plan was to be at the gym by 6:30. I ended up wide awake at 5:30 and was at the gym a bit after 6:00AM. I did 2.25 mile warmup on the treadmill and then did my weight workout. Once I got home I hit the road for an additional 4 miles on my usual out and back route on Escarpment. It felt really good to run after the weights. I think it helped my recovery and I plan on doing it again next week.
