Day Off!
Today was no running. My legs really needed it!! The races on Sunday mess up my day off schedule. Wednesdays are usually my easy 30-45 minutes so missing today is not a big deal.
I started running in June of 2001. Since that time I have lost over 60 pounds and really changed my life from a couch potato to a decent runner. I have finished 14 marathons and numerous other road races. One of my dreams is to run the Boston Marathon which will happen some day. In the last couple of years I have been too focused on that goal and have lost focus on the reasons I began to run. Now it's time to get back to basics: Live and Run with Joy!
