30k Race Goals
These are some pretty basic goals since I think I ran a great 30k last year. I ran a 2:29:43 which was an 8:02 pace. I got second place in the Rhino division, 200-210 pounds.
For tomorrow:
2:29:00 - This is an even 8:00 pace and exactly what I want to obtain a 3:30 at Freescale. The difference from last year is that I want to feel like I have a lot left in the tank as I speed up over the last 5 miles. Last year I died right at mile 18.
Stretch goal - 2:25:00 - 7:47 pace; this is a nice round number to try and hit
My last goal is to win the 39 and under Rhino division since this is my last 30k before I turn 40 in March. Last year I missed it by 47 seconds.
