New Long Workout
Today we met at RunTex to head over to the Zilker soccer fields for a new workout that turned out to be really long. It consisted of 1x4k, 1x2k, and then 4x1k. We did our drills and then headed out. I ran with Carrie, Rachel, Brad, Mike, Thon, and Vasil. Mike and Carrie were ahead of us most of the time and Vasil and I stuck together and completed all of the workout since we the only fall marathoners in the group. As usual I started out slow as my old legs warmed up, but I got faster and was really consistent during my 1k repeats. My legs were totally spent once I finished. I have now run over 48 miles since Saturday. I jogged back with Brad and headed home to stretch.
