Recovery Run

With our new schedule we ran a 7 mile recovery run today around the trail instead of being with our Tues/Thurs mates doing circuit. 7 miles seems long for a recovery run, but if we want to hit the times we are shooting for, we need to increase our mileage. The run was good and we went at a very comfortable clip. I was able to keep my heart rate down and just enjoy the run.

We finished with some strides and I headed to the gym for an abbreviated weight workout on my upper and lower body.
