A Long Way to Meriden
Today we did our Meriden hill workout, but instead of running from RunTex Lake Austin and a half mile warmup, we ran from RunTex Riverside and it was a bit over 3 mile warmup. We left at 5:45 in the cold...finally! It was about 40 degrees with a little wind out of the north. We got to the workout site and did our drills. I headed off with Sean and Marci for the repeats. G originally said 5, but later changed it to 4 repeats.
Repeat splits - 4:39, 4:38, 4:41, 4:34, average - 4:38
We followed the long warmups with 5 forward uphills and 3 backward uphills. I jogged back with Thon at a pretty good clip and then headed off to the gym for some stretching and a few abs.
