Easy Recovery Run
Today I met Jay at 6AM for an easy 7 mile run around the lake. It was cold again this morning so I had to wear tights again. We went a little faster than last week averaging in the low 9's for the run. The pace felt good and there were was no pain or anything from the 20 miler and Meriden yesterday. My legs actually feel really good for 4 weeks out. The problem I am having is that I can't ditch my cough at night and I can't seem to get enough sleep. I think the two go hand in hand and I am always tired at this time of the training.
We did 5 strides after the run and I headed off to the gym where I lifted weights; arms, legs, abs, and then stretched.
